CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. – Security products manufacturer Hikvision have revealed their expansion to its lineup of ColorVu cameras with the ColorVu Smart Hybrid Light Camera Series.
Hikvision said the new camera series allows professionals to explore a variety of tailored lighting modes, each designed to capture critical event-triggered details in the darkest of environments. “Our new ColorVu Smart Hybrid Light Cameras introduce intelligent lighting for security end users, allowing them to customize their monitoring experience from the lighting mode down to the body style, AI algorithms, and third-party integrations,” said John Xiao, Vice President of Marketing, Hikvision USA. “This enables systems integrators and installers to unlock greater success in a broad range of markets where cost and performance are determining factors.”
The company touts a number of versatile features embedded into the camera’s series including smart perimeter protection with human and vehicle detection for fast video searches. The Hikvision Embedded Open Platform (HEOP) further enhances the user experience through smooth integration with third-party applications. Users can explore lighting modes which include covert black and white IR, dynamic full-color, or Smart Mode for adaptive nighttime target detection.
The camera series comes available in bullet, turret, or dome body styles, with ColorVu Smart Hybrid Light Cameras delivering high-definition imagery with resolutions up to 4K.
